    HOW IT WORKS:

  • We do BOTH: Purchase your items outright -and- Consignment. The choice is yours!


  • Prepare your items as described below under the What and How to Bring Your Items section.


  • Bring your items on in for processing. To help keep things under control, we ask that you bring in NO MORE THAN 2 TOTES per visit. If you do not have plastic totes, we may provide them for you.


  • We process incoming items on a first come, first serve basis. Any items that do not meet these guidelines will be considered a “No Thank You”.


  • We will sort thru your items and determine what items will sell in our store and what we expect to price them at. We do this using a variety of methods, including checking what the current price of that item is NEW, comparing prices to other consignment shops in the area, Reviewing previous sales data for the same or similar items sold in our store.



    • PURCHASE OUTRIGHT:

  • Items accepted for purchase outright will be paid immediately upon determining the value of those items and receiving your approval of the quote. You can spend this money in our store, or request CASH if you should choose.


    CONSIGNMENT:

  • Consignors account will be credited with 40% of the selling price of their item approximately 7 days AFTER it has sold.


  • There is a yearly account administration fee of $6.00.


  • The consignment period starts the day items are entered into the system (usually within 24 hours after being dropped off), and expires 60 days later.


  • Consignors have the option of picking up remaining items (if any!) during the last 7 days of the consignment period. Clothes remaining after the end of the consignment period become the sole property of Baby-to-Baby and may be donated to charity, or otherwise disposed of as we see fit. Please call us 3 days in advance of you stopping by so we may have time to pull any remaining items and have them ready for you when you arrive.


  • There will be a $0.25 per item fee assessed for items removed before the designated end of the consignment period.


  • We may markdown items and have sales as needed.


  • We are NOT responsible for any loss or damage that may occur to any items left on our premises.



    • WHAT TO BRING:

  • Designer label and better label Infant thru Teen clothing, Maternity & Nursing clothing, Toys, Books, Videos (VHS or DVD), Wooden Puzzles, Infant shoes/boots/slippers, Furniture (Cribs, Changing Tables, Dressers, etc), or Accessories (Strollers, Pack ‘n Plays, High Chairs, etc).


  • Styles no more than three (3) years old in new, or nearly new condition. Items must be freshly laundered or dry cleaned (within the past 7 days), pressed (if necessary), and on hangers (or neatly folded in storage bins or paper bags). Please do not use plastic bags.


  • All clothing must be free from any odors, rips, stains, tears, frays, missing buttons, missing labels (size or brand), and broken zippers. Clothing that has even the smallest stain or odor will not be accepted.


  • Any electronic items must be cleaned and in working order with batteries installed. We recommend using Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser (available from Walmart, and many other local stores) to remove scuff & paint marks from toys.


  • We will not accept any stuffed animals, clothing with fur, or items that may pose sanitary issues, or any items known to be defective or recalled.



    • PAYMENT:

    PURCHASE-OUTRIGHT: Items purchased outright will be paid in CASH immediately upon determining a value.

    CONSIGNMENT: Payment for items sold thru consignment is available in CASH at anytime for account balances UNDER $25.00. Balances in excess of this amount may request a check. You may also spend your account balance, or any portion there-of on any purchase you make with us at anytime.
